Can you come to my location to shoot?

Yes. We can come to your studio, office, warehouse, restaurant, or any other location. A fee may be charged to transport and set up our studio equipment.

Can I be there for the shoot? Can I help?

Yes. We love to collaborate. We want the images to be exactly what you want, and there's no better way to do that then to work together. Many clients bring their products to our studio, help us get everything set up just the way they like it, and then sit back and watch.

How can we work on the setup if I'm not there?

We can get the photos pretty close to your vision just from a phone call. But we like to make sure you're getting exactly what you want, so we will email you a sample of the first photo. We'll incorporate your feedback, send another sample for confirmation, and then shoot the whole batch.

What if I see something in a proof that I want to change?

If you tell us within 24 hours of receiving the proofs, we will reshoot up to 10% of your order for free. After 24 hours or more than 10% will be charged as additional products.

Can you shoot multiple angles of the same product?

Yes. Shooting an object from different angles, without moving it or changing the lighting setup, is charged at half price per shot. If we have to move the product or change the lighting setup, we will charge those shots as additional items.

Can you arrange and shoot multiple products together?

Yes. Rates for this can vary depending on the complexity of the setup. A few objects on white are usually charged at half price for each additional item. For large quantities or delicate arrangements, please call us at 310.717.0665.

Can you set up a scene or include props?

Yes. There may be an additional cost for the increased setup time, but call us at 310.717.0665 and tell us what you'd like.

Can you source special materials and props?

Yes. We are very resourceful and can usually accommodate special requests. We charge a fee of 20% of retail for customer requested purchases.

What are my background options?

White is by far the most popular background. It allows the product images to float seamlessly on paper and web sites (as long as they're white). However, textured, colored, and material backgrounds can be used.

Can you add a reflection like in the Apple ads?

Yes.

How do I get my products back?

When photography is done and you're happy with the images, we'll repack your products in your original packing and boxes, and ship it back to you with your included label or postage.

How do I get my photos?

After the shoot, we'll email you a link to a proof gallery. And after editing is complete, we'll send you a link to the final images, which will be combined into a ZIP file.

How long will it take to get my photos?

You'll receive a link to a web gallery of proofs usually within two days of shooting, and a link to the final images about five days later. If you have a deadline or need the deliverables expedited, please call us at 310.717.0665 so we can accommodate your request.

What file formats will my images be?

Images are typically delivered as JPG, but can also be GIF or PNG. PSD, TIFF, and RAW are also available, but are very large, sometimes over 100MB. These large files incur an extra charge because of the time and computer resources required to work with them.

What resolution will my images be?

Our standard cameras shoot images that are 3872 x 2592 pixels, about 10.2 megapixels.

Can you make the images fit my website?

Yes. We can crop and resize your images.

How large can I print my images?

Our standard cameras create an image large enough to print a magazine cover at 300dpi, but larger sizes at slightly lower resolutions still look great. If very large images or prints are required, call us at 310.717.0665 to discuss your options.

Can you talk to my webmaster or printer?

Yes. This is very common, and can save you a lot of time and work. It's even a good idea to get your contractors involved before the shoot, so we can make sure everyone will exactly what they need.

Where, how, and for how long can I use the images?

You can use them anywhere you want, in any way you want, forever.
